As a part of the new Unbound brand six variations of the logo were designed—the first being the inky U. It is a celebration of each word on each page of each book we make. Our goal was to bring it to life.
Glen Maddern and I used WebGL to quickly prototype a series of different treatments in the browser. We then iterated on the animation until it was ready to be passed to After Effects to create a series of animated vignettes.
